- Be sure to get all assignments to me by
the due date. Email malfunctions,
computer breakdowns, printer problems, and fax faux pas are not
accepted as excuses. It is your
responsibility to get them to me on time.
Note that late work will not be accepted.
- Attend all lab meetings and arrive on
time. Car problems, alarm clock confusion, traffic congestion, work
schedule conflicts, etc. may all occur at one time or another. Keep
them to a minimum.
- Homework assignments:
- Will not be accepted late.
- Can be emailed, faxed, or handed in.
- Must be typed.
- Use complete sentences to answer the
questions.
- Include a form of the question in your
answers.
- Always spell check and proof read
before submitting.
- Lab Reports:
- After completing a lab experiment, you
have until the next lab meeting to hand it in.
- Although all lab experiments are done
with partners, everyone must hand in his or her own lab report.
- Any lab not completed results with a
grade of zero. There are no
make up labs, however, the lowest lab report will be dropped. You are responsible for the material
covered in every lab exercise.
- Some labs require safety goggles. You will not be permitted to complete
the lab if you do not have appropriate safety equipment.
- Email:
- Everyone must have his or her own
email account. If you do not have
an account, sign up for free email with yahoo immediately.
- Check your email regularly. Class
updates are typically emailed the Tuesday before campus meetings.
- Free Internet access is available in
rooms C216, C310 as well as the library.
Access to computer centers is available 7 days a week, however,
individual hours vary.
- Be sure that you can receive multiple
attachments.
- Always put your last name on all
emails and attachments.
- If you do not get a response from me
for each email you send, contact me by phone.
